Notes: Heavy hail storm began with thunder and lightning at 1:36 PM on 7/1. I had taken the hail pad in at 8:AM on 7/1 after a small hail storm that occurred while we were on vacation (see hail report for 7/1, date of hail uncertain.) It took me about 2 minutes to set up a new hail pad, during which time most of the hail and rain occurred. The hail pad was not in place for the largest hail (pea sized or larger), so the loss of data was significant.
