| Notes: |
Hail started with the heaviest of the rain about 5 minutes after the first light rain started falling. Hail appeared to be smaller stuff, little beads, & seemed to desolve very rapidly in the heavy rain. Hail-fall lasted only a few short minutes. As for rain, we received 0.69 inches in about 30-minutes & a total of .80 inches from the storm (about 90-minutes). Was the minor leaf damage caused by the brief hail or by the pounding sheets of rain that followed & lasted several minutes? I think it was probly more rain damage then hail damage. |
