| Notes: |
Quickly intensifying thunderstorm moved through with rain and small hail initially, turning stronger with slightly heavier rain and larger intermittent hail. Just before hail tapered off a few very large stones fell at between 6:26 and 6:33 PM. Several of these were almost golf ball sized and a few were perfectly round and others were odd shaped. I've saved a batch and also taken photographs if you would like them sent. Updated this report for the largest sized stones that fell to 2 inch diameter. Was able to measure the stones and even with some melting are still almost egg sized. No hail pad at this location. |
