| Notes: |
Hail started very suddenly after dark clouds with rotation blew over the area. Most of hail was rice-size & white ice though some clear ice was seen falling on the porch. Intensity was very heavy for the initial 3 +/- minutes then less intense as rain started. Accumilation of hail was just enough to shade the gravel driveway white though rapidly melted. Rain & hail stopped at the same time just minutes after the rain started. Only damage noted was to the Baby Leaf Lettuce where the leaves were unable to give & move under the force of the hail hitting them. |
