A pop up Thunderstorm crossed this station at 1510 hrs [3:10p] on 9/8 from the SE dropping dime and pea size Hail! Winds were 0-5 MPH gusting to 15-20 MPH. Thunder all around. Was unable to deploy a “CoCoRAS” Hail Pad in time as this was entirely unpredictable.
Total catch as of 1540 hrs. [3:40p] was 0.76 inches. Shredded Maple leaves everywhere. |
