| Notes: |
I think this was actually sleet. It was very light in intensity and was smaller than rice. It looked just like sleet, not hail. However, the temperature was 43 dg and I have never seen sleet fall at such a warm temperature. The humidity was about 90% and the wind was calm. Light rain has been falling for the last couple of hours. The pellets melted shortly after falling. It is possible that it began before 2:17; because it was so light, I didn't even know it was falling until my brother pointed it out. There has been no heavy rain, thunder, or wind all day. |
