I heard thunder this morning, so got up to make sure computer was unplugged--it was. Just as I came into the kitchen (5:15 to 5:20 am, exactly) it started to pour. Along with that was small-pea size hail. It lasted about 5 minutes. As it let up, I went out to measure the five minute rain. It came to 0.16. I stayed up about another half hour and it just rained rather gently. After I went to bed, I heard it rain pretty hard again, and probably had another round of hail with that, (about 6:15 more or less) but I didn't get up to see that time. It more or less stopped around 7:30 am. I couldn't see the angle. It seemed like it might have been about straight down. |
