Storm lasted from about 8 pm to 8:30 pm + or - 5 min.
Size - various, largest marble sized, 80% hail ground cover up to two stones deep, lost most garden leaves, knocked off tomatoes size of a quarter, 90% of leaves gone on lee / protected side of the house, broke tomato branches, mostly sticks standing. Hail began maybe 5 minutes after rain and stopped 5 minutes before rain stopped.
Wood vines look good 85-90% leaves and vines survived.
Didn't have new hail pad out, 1.51" of moisture in gauge.
Grasshoppers seem to have survived. |
