| Notes: |
No hailpad out, but right near end of hail, the pieces in the grass were about 1/2" apart. It was mostly from the north. It started with 1-1/4"-sized pieces that were clearly conglomerates of pea-sized pieces, but the later 1/2" pieces appeared solid. The big stuff bounced over a foot on the lawn and made very loud cracking sounds on my garage roof (it sounded like someone spradically throwing rocks at the garage - could not localize the sound, though). I will be interested to see if my acrylic patio cover is cracked. More plant damage will likely show up in the next few days as it browns. |
