The wind was very light and hail would quit for a few minutes and then begin again. Baseball sized hail was reported by neighbor 3.5 west and .5 south and .5 northwest of my location just before the hail started here. He called me to warn me. We had almost 3/4 inch of rain in about 30 minutes with this. Stones that broke were white inside with a clear covering of ice. There was still some stones on the ground 15 minutes later. I did not notice very much damage to garden. I do not have a hail pad set up. |
