I was able to measure a few pieces, it was 2 inches across. I have a few pieces in the freezer and video during the event.
Edited on 5/28 to add, my area does not see hail, I would say we had more snow in the last few years than hail.
The baseball size hail started first not many but a few hit the house and rolled down the roof to the ground. WDSU.com featured my video on the website and on four of the five news shows. I have the videos on my youtube channel. The channel is mrjamie235us, the video with the most hits was featured on the news and website. |
