Did not observe start of hailstorm. Observed heavy rain with small hailstones coming from a cumulonimbus cloud just to our east. No thunder was heard during the event. Hail ended at 6:56pm. Average size of hail stones was about 1/8th inch. Precipitation ended at 7:01pm and an additional 0.02" of precipitation was in the gauge catch from this event. |
