RAB/E 1330/1645 0.09" as continuous -RA to RA, though from 1335-1350 with RAGR and RAGRSN. GR rice sized, 3 mm diameter at largest and of clear ice. SN sparse large, wet flakes dropping through the other hydrometeors. First SN of the season. Ta fell from 4.7°C at 1315 to 3.4°C by 1415 during this PCPN episode. Hail of any sort in Dec is rare. |
