Interestingly there was no rainfall…just approaching thunder and lightning and then the hail and then nothing. As I type this, still no rain. Addendum recorded about 20 minutes later: I went out to sweep front porch and lay down some snow melt chemicals for the morning and it started precipitating a mix of graupel and snow. Still quite warm with temperatures above freezing
