No pad. I measured the two largest ones in a ~50 sq ft area near the house, 10-15 minutes after they fell, and they were both 1" diameter (+/- 1/16th). Some hail was hitting the windows on the ENE side of the house, which requires at least a 15° angle to clear the eaves. I do have photos of the two largest next to a ruler. |
