| Notes: |
Hail started about 5 minutes after rain (intense precipt report filed concerning rain - just short of 1/2 inch rain in 15 minutes). Hail was continuous for 10-minutes though with intermittent intensities. Most of the hail was rice to pea size & very hard though some of the smaller hail was clear. Larger hail was a bit softer & white. Accumilation of hail was limited to along side structures & along rain water run off pathways, possibly melted quickly with the heavy rains or washed downstream. Greatful most of the hail was rice to pea sized .... spared our tomato & pepper plants from much damage! |
