No hail pad. Hail approx. 1 to 2 inches apart on deck. Easily visible on pavement, deck and in evergreen trees. Did not cover ground. Intermittent rain showers with large drops started approx. 10 minutes before "main event". Rain, small and large hail started together. Heaviest rain started just after onset of hail. Received approx. 0.1-inch of rain in 5 minutes (read by binoculars from inside house). Wind gusty but not impressive. Not much lightning or thunder. Rain continued for about 15 minutes after hail ended. |
