We don't get hail in Michigan, so this was quite the experience! It started out with isolated pinging noises that alerted me to the fact that this wasn't just heavy rainfall. About half-way through the event, large hail began falling with a notable whoosh noise. The sound of hail bouncing off metal objects in the yard (like bird feeders) was incredible. |
