Photos of hail. Ground was 50% covered at one point.
Hail piled in corners and clogged gutter downspouts. Mammatus clouds filled the sky after the hail stopped at 7:25 and remained until well after dusk over two hours later. Trees are not in leaf, or there would have been damage. The smell of beaten pine/evergreen lingered all evening. Howling prestorm winds, went calm <15mph after the hail for about an hour, when they picked up again. |
