| Notes: |
While in Bourbonnais and Bradley on route 45 from John Casey Rd to Perry St (Jimmy Jo's BBQ to Big Lots) between 4:15 & 4:45 pm I observed small hail estimated mostly 1/4 inch or less, but saw one piece that was about 1/4 x 1/2 inch. Was difficult to estimate because of the intense rain I could rarely even see the hail, mostly just heard it hitting my car. Never saw any hail on the ground which was covered with maybe 1 inch of water. All of the hail made a loud noise when hitting the car, they must have been more hard and dense than normal. I did not notice any damage to my car but my wife said she saw a broken business sign that may have been caused by hail but not sure. |
