Notes: Park Ridge might be in the center of the storm. First wave hit at 6:20 preceded by minor hail ( .15 to .20 inches) for about 5 minutes. Second wave hit about 7:10 with hail for the first 10 minutes .5 to .65 inches in size hit the ground with some force; approximately 8 hail stones in a one foot square area on the grass. First two waves deposited over one inch of rain in gauge. Third wave started at 7:50 with light stead rain until 8:00 when 5 minutes of hail sized .75 to .85 fell together with a strong down pour for the next 10 minutes. From 8:10 until 8:20 we experience a light stead rain mixed with some hail (approx. .25 inches). In the third wave observed lots of cloud to cloud lighting. Presently light rain continues to fall. Total rain for the storm 1.90 inches.
