Was not here, but my daughter(39 yrs) obsvrd the hail and put samples in freezer for me. The tstm was short lived(5:30 pm on July 24,2012)with only .15" of melted(maybe one piece of hail and the rain, but who really knows). Hail is very rare on Cape Cod, so I was frustrated that I missed the event. We had hail a couple years ago, but it was only pea size. The max gust with this tstm was 39. Doc Taylor |
