Notes: I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK (THIBODAUX) WHICH IS ABOUT 15 MINUTES FROM MY HOME. a THUNDERSTORM BROKE WITH REAL STRONG GUSTY WINDS, LOTS OF LIGHTENING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. THE RAIN WAS ICE COLD.I COULD SEE THE HAIL ON THE HOOD OF MY VEHICLE WHEN I STOPPED AT THE RED LIGHT. I WAS MOVING NORTH WEST AT THE TIME AND THE WINDS WERE COMING FROM THE NORTH. AS I DROVE TOWARD HOME I WAS AHEAD OF THE STORM. THE RAIN LET UP ABOUT HALFWAY HOME AND WHEN I GOT TO THE HOUSE I IMMEDIATELY CHECKED THE WEATHER RADAR FROM NEW ORLEANS AND COULD SEE THE STORM EAST NORTH EAST OF LABADIEVILLE WITH A LARGER STORM FURTHER TO THE SOUTH EAST. BOTH BROKE UP AND DISAPPEARED FROM RADAR IN ABOUT 35 OR 40 MINUTES. NO RAIN ACTUALLY FELL AT MY STATION. I DID PRINT THE RADAR PICTURE
