Did not have a hail pad out. Observed the entire duration of hail. Hailfall was light to moderate over the 7 minute period from 6:34 to 6:41 pm. Mostly the stones were 0.25 inches diameter. Hail only in the first of the training storms that lasted for about 2 hours. Storms came from the northeast (rare), and so benefited from some orographic enhancement that we usually don't get. |
