With no warning of impending hail, hail pad was not in place. Hail coated parts of some surfaces, mostly ornamental beds (coating) and the deck attached to our house. On one spot there—an elliptical-shaped region with major axis approximately four feet and minor axis 28.5 inches—it accumulated to a depth of 1/4 inch around a nearly empty central disk of diameter just a few inches. |
