Unfortunately, I was doing chores @ neighbor 1/4" mi So (as Crow flies) when storm hit @ 8:20am & over @ 8:29am so couldn't get hail pad out or take pix. Storm lasted 9 min. w/rain starting 1/2 way thru Hail storm. Temp when Storm started = 61º, when over down to 55º. Weather claims storm moving E @ 30mph. The Hail stones were hitting furiously & covered everything as if a snowfall - have several black & blue marks already. Possibility of another one late today.
Driving back to Ranch, Hail Stones did NOT crunch under tires, but rolled then flattened. |
