Returned home at 3:15pm after the hail event. My neighbor reported approx 30 minutes of lots of soft hail for a long time, with thunder and lightning, producing significant accumulation on the grass (guessing .5" to 1.0"), intermixed with rain. 1.5 hours afterwards I could still see piles of soft, slushy accumulation with soft hailstones apparent at 3:30pm. 0.41" precip including rain and melted hail measured at 3:30pm. |
