| Notes: |
I'm using a piece of foam packaging material a coffee pot came in for a hail pad. It is about 10 by 10 inches square by 3 inches deep with a 9 inch diameter by 2 inch deep depression in the center. When a possible hailstorm is forecast I'll place it in the yard with a spike through it into the grass to keep it from blowing away and it will catch any hailstones falling and is a good insulator to keep them from melting until they can be measured with a ruler or caliper. |
