Three separate rounds of hail fell during the day. The first round of hail began at 11:30 a.m. and lasted 4 minutes. It was primarily the size of rice, with a few larger pea size stones imbedded within the storm. The second round of hail began at 12:44 p.m. and lasted 24 minutes. The third round of hail began at 2:28 p.m. and lasted 4 minutes. All of the hail was hard, and white. The deck was covered with about a half inch of stones and large piles of stones collected at the base of the gutter downspouts. There was minor leaf damage. |
