The majority of the hail was 1/2" in the major diameter of an oblate spheroid. Most of the hail was formed of white ice. The 1" diameter hail was a hockey puck shape made of rings of white ice and clear ice. There were only a few of the 1.5" hail stones that were lumpy concretions. |
