Notes: Intense hail storm moved through the eastern side of the Albuquerque Valley towards the Sandias. I was at Paseo Del Norte driving East in constant and increasingly severe hail. visibility was approx 90feet at times. Large concentrations of hail were on the highway. Arriving at the gage site, the hail was covering the ground at least .5 inches and all exposed impervious surfaces. Many leaves and branches from deciduous trees covered ground under those trees.
