I was about 2500 miles away when my neighbor text-messaged me to report "rain & hail". I asked if it was 3 or 4mm in size, and he said "more like 2". I didn't have a hail report form handy, so didn't know what else to ask. He hasn't commented on it further, so I guess it was minor, brief, and incidental to the rain -- common in these parts in summer. |
