On Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 6:54 pm Eastern Daylight Time, large hail began to fall. The size ranged from quarter (1 inch diameter) to tennis ball sized hail (2.5 inches in diameter). Unfortunately, I was unable to save the largest hail stone. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning with a Damage threat tag of CONSIDERABLE was in effect at the time the hail was falling and was measured. |
