| Notes: |
Very little hail fell. Unable to get pictures or go outside to measure due to lots of rain and lightning, so size is a rough estimate. I do not think any hail was bigger than 1/4". What little hail there was was interspersed with lots of rain.
Start time is an estimate that should be good to within a few minutes, as I had an online chat message received at 1931 that I attempted to reply to shortly thereafter and was unable to as my wireless internet dropped out due to the storm. This was also why I did not immediately submit a report. By the time I had internet again 20+ minutes later I had forgotten to submit a report. I also forgot to note the time down for when I could submit a report later.
Addendum: I have friends in Madison that got bigger than golf ball sized hail. One reported two cracked windshields on two cars and damage to roofing, along with a video they took of hail falling. The other reported damaged siding from hail and shared pictures of hail held in hands. Contact me if you want these and I will see if they are willing to share more details and the pictures/video. |
