Hail Report Information
Station Number: CO-BO-146
Station Name: Lyons 0.3 NNE
Date: 6/28/2013 7:37 PM
Submitted 6/30/2013 7:22 PM
Taken at registered location: True
Notes: Observed hail storm from location two blocks from home. I will update the report with rainfall totals later this evening. Hail was constant and very very heavy for the 10 or 11 minute period. Hailstones accumulated on grass enough to make things look fairly white. 0.31" rain recorded from the rain and hailfall over the time period. Rain continued for roughly 5 or 10 minutes after hail stopped at approx 7:48pm. One hour after the storm I can still readily find hailstones in excess of 1" diameter in my yard. Updated report 6/30/13 after realizing the hail 6/28/30 has produced dents in cars. Like mine.
