| Notes: |
I have not received equipment yet. Hail associated with a weak storm system. When I measured catch in my rain gauge at 12:45 AM 12/4, sizes were 1-2 mm, average ~1.3 mm; total water equivalent 0.02 inches (no water in gauge at that time). Precipitation continued, turning to rain. By 7:11 AM additional water in gauge was 0.24 inches (after end of storm). I do not know when the transition to rain occurred, though temperatures rose from 34 to 37 degrees F overnight |
