I was not at location at the time but my wife said she heard hail for a minute but when she walked out a few moments later she didn't see any on the ground. My hail pad showed a small number (5-7) of 3/8 to 1/2 inch dents (I measured). Reports from around town indicate same, some with notable accumulation (SPLASH). Trees have their leaves still here at this location. Observer from TX-VV-38 sent me a picture from that location of a hailstone the size of a penny (0.75-inches). |
