Hail Report Information
Station Number: CO-AU-38
Station Name: Pagosa Springs 0.5 SSE
Date: 6/27/2022 5:30 PM
Submitted 6/28/2022 9:56 AM
Taken at registered location: True
Notes: I do not have a hail pad. This storm came on suddenly and built from the east (unusual for our area where storms usually approach from the S/SW/W), accompanied by lightning and thunder, very localized and lasted about 20 minutes. I was boating on the river below the observation station at the time and the hail was quite painful! Neighbors less than 1/2 mile away did not get precip or hail.
