| Notes: |
Hail mixed with torrential rain began 5:56pm, lasting nearly continuously through about 6:08pm. 30-40mph winds throughout, no hail damage noted except for some fairly severe leaf shredding. Biggest stones measured were 1.5'' but oblong. Rounder-shaped stones were up to 1.25'' across. Hailstones were lumpy, jagged, and chaotic looking, clear and opaque ice mixed together. The roar of the hailstorm approaching was incredible! |
