| Notes: |
GS began fitfully, with only a few 2 to 4 mm diameter stones tapping down. PCPN changed to -RA to RA for a few minutes, then the main pulse of GS arrived with 4 to 8 mm stones for several minutes. Only the barest trace of accumulation on the ground, approximately 20 to 30% cover. Thunder followed at 1535 as the hail faded, a full TS–something that has not occurred here in many months. A fitful breeze accompanied the SHGS, with a shift in direction from S to W. Reports of downed limbs at other locations. After a short pause in precipitation, a period of steadier RA to +RA arrived, starting at 1550, accompanied by falling Ta from 5.6°C to a rather chilly 3.2°C by 1604. |
