Notes: Distant thunder shortly after noon. Drips by 2:30pm. Hail fell for only 1 minute. Another report given by my husband driving a tractor on a field 1 mile south and 3.5 miles east--Hail started about the same time but lasted at least 5 minutes. Hail was dime size. Smaller hail just before it ended. Pouring rain for a few minutes after the hail. Rain had started before the hail. Total damage unknown at this time but possibly to soybeans near by. No damage to buildings, vehicles, or corn.
