Hail Report
Hail Report Information
Station Number: CO-DN-128
Station Name: Cherry Creek Reservoir 2.8 N
Date: 5/8/2013 2:21 PM
Submitted 5/08/2013 2:45 PM
Taken at registered location: True
Notes: This hail was very small, and irregular in shape. It really looked like large ice pellets, but it was accompanied by thunder and lighting, thus convective in origin. The hail was mostly clear with a small bit of opacity in the center, near the nuceli. The amount of indentations on the hailpad is a rough estimate, as it is still wet with RA. This report was also reported to the NSSL/U-OK mPING project via web app.
