| Notes: |
Hail started suddenly abt 17:42 & wa continuos until 19:56, then a rain-hail mix. Hail stones got smaller as time passed. Hail stopped when heaviest rain began about 20:00, then the rain let up & hail fell hard for about 5 minutes, then rain-hail mix followed by heavy rain & then light rain with hail again. This pattern continued until after 21:30 with the periods of hail getting shorter & shorter between the bursts of heavy rain. Largest stones were received when the hail first began falling. A few larger stones fell periodically whebn the rain would let up though after the initial hail storm most of the hail was pea to 3/8 inces. Storm/Hail seem to come from the SSW rather then the ussual WSW. |
