The hail was very soft and white at first - I thought it might be graupel, but it smeared when I touched it, then the hail became firmer (still soft), and clear. After a few minutes of hail, more hail than rain fell lasting for 3 to 4 minutes before becoming more rain than hail again. By 4:42pm the rain was down to just a few sprinkles. |
