| Notes: |
I commonly see hail impacts this small, but they usually occur as a background for larger hail stones. This time the hail pad was contained an estimated average of 100 strikes per square inch, for a total of 14400 indentations. There are ridges on the aluminum foil that suggested that there was a build-up of hail between the ridges. The hail had all melted by 6:10 AM. |
