| Notes: |
Started white and small, progressed to clear with a single white spot, sometimes in middle of clear stone, other times at edge of clear stone. Slow start to hail event, intensity picked up after 2 min, steady for about 4 more minutes, then intensity really picked up with the clear+white stones, nearly all of which were 1/2 inch in size with a few to 5/8 inch. Largest all white stone was about 3/8 for a while, then a few up to 5/8. We finished installing our hail covers in the garden about 1 hour prior to this event. Lucky! |
