An odd hailfall in my experience: VERY TINY stones from start to finish; VERY FEW stones --- I had to watch very closely during much of the hailfall to even see the rare stone bouncing when it hit; at no time was I able to perceive a single stone lying on the ground after impact. The only observable stones were in a (small) "accumulation" on the grass below a long roof valley. |
