Hail Report Information
Station Number: CO-HF-12
Station Name: Gardner 1.8 SE
Date: 6/16/2005 2:30 AM
Submitted 6/17/2005 6:10 AM
Taken at registered location: True
Notes: This was really a rain shower. The precip measurement right after the storm was 0.06". I heard an occasional hailstone hit the metal roof, but even though I was watching out a window, I never saw a hailstone fall, or lying on the ground. I can only report hail because I heard it, and there are dents in the hail pad to verify that it was hail. It was very sparse within the rain. It was a brief, but vigorous rain. The dents in the pad range from pin head size to 1/4".
