Frost had formed on elevated surfaces such as rooftops and car rooftops and on grass in the front yard but only dew on the grass in the backyard, patio table and rain gauge due to temperatures lowering into the mid 30s (degrees Fahrenheit) (patchy frost) at the surface at 7:30AM EDT. Sensitive plants such as Marigolds in a pot had been brought back into the house to protect from frost. |
