Despite the cold there was basically no frost due to the abnormal dryness of the ground surface. No frost on the roof tops. 2 1/2" to 3" of ice in the buckets of water - almost half frozen thru. Patchy ice on the pond. Deep freeze. Maximum air temperature -3.2 C (26.2 F) at 4:50 a.m. |
